Florida Manatee Festival

Designed to raise awareness about the endangered Florida manatee, this three-day event held in Crystal River features 200 craft vendors, a juried fine art show, children's games, live entertainment, and fine food. Since the festival started 15 years ago, attendance has grown from 5,000 to more than 25,000. Project documentation will include the festival message of protection for the nearly 200 manatees that winter in the warm waters of the Crystal River.
