Post-1915 Japanese prints including including Sôsaku Hanga ("Creative Prints"), Shin Hanga ("New Prints"), contemporary works by Japanese artists, and examples of Japonisme (works inspired by Japanese art and culture) by Western artists are included in the general Fine Prints collection. Very few currently have online records.

Most bound materials, including woodblock-printed books and scrolls, are found in the Asian Division. This collection includes approximately 5000 titles of books and manuscripts, produced during or soon after the Edo period (1600-1868). 3400 now have electronic records, which are searchable in the Library of Congress Online Catalog.

The Geography and Map Division preserves more than 250 titles of pre-1900 manuscript and woodblock-printed maps.
