Cost of living studies. No. 4, 1931: Spending ways of a semi-skilled group.
This study, part of series of studies undertaken to analyze the ways of spending at various income levels, investigates the income and expenditures of a group of relatively low-skilled or semi-skilled wage earners. The 1925 survey gathered information on the size and source of the workers' income and the main classes of goods and services that it purchased.
