Dear Mom and Dad,
Nothing much has happened today. It's raining. We didn't have rain for quite some time.
I'm still working on the Quonset building. Today we're trying to put the doors up. We didn't finish the roof yet but with the rain it's too slippery to work up there on that corrugated tin.
I saw a good movie last night. The name of it was "Sombrero" but about twenty minutes before the ending it started raining like hell. That spoiled the finish.
We got in our winter "fart sacks" yesterday so I have no trouble sleeping now on these cool nights.
I'm going to chow now. I'll write again later
Well, it's after supper now. Nothing has happened. I drank seventeen cans of beer for supper. Tomorrow morning we're having a parade. They're going to present awards. I'm supposed to get a Bronze Star for Porkchop Hill, whether I get it tomorrow or not remains to be seen.
Love
Eddie
