Dear Mom and Dad,
Everything is fine, just fine. Three of my buddies got busted from Corporal to PFC. Al Witkowski, Ralph Malzewski and Nix. I won't tell you what it was for, but they didn't deserve it.
It's raining now. I saw the movie while I was with the Infantry so I don't have to get wet.
One of our lines went out and we put them in. That's all we did.
It's so wet and muddy here that I didn't have to work on my sump hole. It's OK with me , I'm tired.
It's not too hot, but it is too warm to wear a raincoat.
In a few minutes I'll go to bed. There's an inspection just about every day so I have to get up early in order to straighten things up.
So that's all for now.
Love
Eddie
