Dear Ron,

I got the pictures of you today. By the time you get this letter, you should be out of high school. Congratulations. You're supposed to be a big boy now. What are you going to do now?

I'm just taking it easy now. In a few days we'll be going back on the line.

I'm an uncle again so I guess you are too.

How are things going back there? Have you seen the White Sox play yet? I don't mean of television, I mean at Comiskey Park.

I got a letter from Butch Klekot. He's in an Ordinance outfit. He's taking his basic training in Maryland.

Is "Tiger" still running around? Didn't they get his ass in the army yet? He doesn't show me much!

If you're looking for a job and don't want to walk too far, try American Steel where I worked. Try to get in the inspection department. It's a good job, easy as all hell, and when I get back we'd really have it made!

Write soon. I've got to go now.

Love

Eddie
