Dear Mom and Dad,

It looks like a nice day today. Last night I saw the movie "Come Back Little Sheba".

This morning I pulled maintenance on my jeep. When our section chief rotates home around June 4, I'll get off of the jeep. I'll be in charge of the wires to the OPs then. It will be harder work but when all the lines are in I won't have to worry about the jeep. We're still in the blocking position. If it weren't for the jeep, I would hardly have anything to do.

It's only nine o'clock in the morning now. I have no idea what I'll do the rest of the day.

According to the radio, they have hopes for an armistice. I hope they're right this time.

They said it will be a couple of weeks before the pictures are developed. They're so overloaded at the developing center that they don't know where to start. They just opened this developing shop about a week ago. Everyone is sending pictures to them. Before the shop opened, pictures had to be sent to Japan or Hawaii. They were expensive and it took longer. Over here they're going to charge five cents a print.

I can't think of anything else for now. Maybe I'll get mail this afternoon. Yesterday I received the Sporting News of May 13. Up to today the Sox have a record of 22-15. They sure have been a good ninth inning ball club.

Love

Eddie
