I know the bull session with Ron must have been something special, Junie. There are so few people you can honest to God lose track of time with - and love doing it. But when you find them there's nothing quite to satisfying I think. It hasn't happened often to me over here, Snoon - but when it happens I *delight* in tossing all thoughts of bed and sleep in the rubbish - where similar waste reside! They're some of the swellest memories I'll kep from this whole time away. You and Ron are as different as can be, pooch - and it's healthy to recognize the fact with candor and frankness. People need different diets - and neither Ron nor you could thrive on each others. It's good that you *both* recognize it. An honest evaluation of each other's needs and limitations will never lead to disillusionment for either of you. That corny old adage is really not bad, hon - "a friend is a guy you sees every one of your faults - and loves you anyhow." The question you raised of "specific" diets is a good one - too *damn* good! I know so well that our growing has been {such} a seemingly formless thing since last we were together, darling. It's been hard to see - harder still to vocalize. Like every flower that's ever grown it's been tempered by its soil and the weeds around it. Ours has been entangled with loneliness and fear and frustration - and I know that often you've wondered, as I have, if the growth hasn't been a regressive thing - digging frantically away from the sun. But somehow
