Japanese scrip given me in Bilibid on the way to Japan. We were supposed to be paid 20 pesos per month for our labors, but almost all of it went into various Japanese pockets.

Card probably damaged in U.S. air raid. The two lines of Japanese say, "Prisoner of War Mail" with the censors' personal stamps, on the left, and "Post Card" on the right. In 1945, I had not received mail sent me two years before.
