Dear Mom and Dad,

Howdy. I'm driving a jeep again, Headquarters Eleven. I've been putting a lot of miles on it. We worked Sunday. Last night I was on guard. It's colder here and getting colder all the time.

Nobody has rotated from the battery but one man since about November 7. I don't know what's the matter here. I'll never make it at this rate

Ted said he could have made it for his brother's wedding but said it was a lot of trouble. I think he wants to be home for the Christmas holidays. I was surprised to hear of his marriage. (Ed Przybylski) He didn't seem like the type. You never know.

We had turkey for the Thanksgiving. It was a lot better than the meal I had at Fort Riley last Thanksgiving.

Enclosed are some photos of some of my buddies. I've got some more negatives of some pictures of me. I'll send them too.

Most of the Battalion is at an Artillery test so I'll have to pull guard just about every other night for this week. I was out to the range a couple of days ago with another outfit and it was miserable. I'd much rather pull guard.

Well, this is it for now. Not much, but all of it.

Love

Eddie
