Dear Mom and Dad,
There's been quite a few changes since I last wrote. I'm no longer in liaison. I'm back in the battery. Not in Radio but in the Wire Section. And I'm no longer a Corporal, I'm a PFC again.
It means I won't be getting four points per month anymore. I'm farther in the rear. I get three points per month now. I told you before that I wanted to get off Liaison. Well, now I am. I feel better. No more "sweating it out". I'm not with the 32 nd Infantry anymore. I'm safer.
Now that I'm back in the battery, I'll have to take a lot more chicken shit but I think I may be able to take it.
That's that, I'm tired now. I'll sign off before the lights go out.
Love
Eddie
