Dearest -
This is it--once again. A hurried note to notify you of my impending draft that was published tonight & is scheduled to leave tomorrow morning 7 a.m. I'll try to wire in the morning--Western Union is closed now--&, who knows, perhaps I'll be scratched at the last minute?
I'm headed for the following:
Commander, Bremerton Group, Reserve Fleet, *Bremerton, Washington*
It is for duty at the Flag Allowance, which is apparently headquarters for that naval district. Offhand, I'd say it's good duty tho [sic] you never can tell. At least I'll do some more travelling & see some more of the U.S.--& get out of Shoemaker.
Don't write until I send you the correct address; will wire as soon as I know it.
Bremerton is right by Seattle.
I feel sure I'll be headed for N.Y.C. in the next few months--
