this afternoon we spent stenciling our names onto our clothing. And what clothing! I still can't enumerate all we got--here's what I remember: 3 white sailor hats; one blue hat; 2 pairs blue uniform, tops & pants; 4 pairs white pants, two tops; several pair of white crewneck undershirts; shorts; 1/2 doz pr. blue socks; 1/2 doz wh. handkerchiefs, overcoat-1/2 [sze]; turtleneck blue sweater; woolen gloves; kerchief; woolen hat; 1 pr. high shoes; 1 pr. oxfords; 1 pr. sneakers; 1 pr. swimming trunks; 2 pr. dungarees & shirts, etc; show shining outfit; sewing outfit; hair brush; clothes brush; [stubbers], leggings.

After we received the clothes, we donned the blue uniform and presto we're sailors--& what sailors! With 3 injections; one vaccination; one for tetanus; one for typhoid--& more to come.

Our barracks overlook{s} Lake Seneca--a pretty scene--It's a long lake, 2 1/2 miles wide--the camp is immense--we're in 1/6 of it--that is Unit F: there are 5 other units which ^we may not see
