down a horse. The score read as follows typhus, typhoid, cholera, and tetanus, plus a vaccination against smallpox. For a while I thought Orson Waggon of Lil'Abner fame had calloused me. Wow! What an ordeal. It is my fault though as I had been putting it off for some time.

The other major event was the totaling of my points. I have 71 points derived as follows. 17 months overseas credit, 5 battle participation stars at 5 point each = 25, and 29 months active service, total = 71. One needs 85 to be considered, I guess I stay in the army. I wouldn't mind that so much though if they would or will only send me home. I am still sweating that out. However from where I stand it doesn't look too promising. I wouldn't mind staying here though if you could come over to
