Chateaudun France.

May 20 1945

My Darling:

It seems funny after all this time to beable [sic] to write in my present location.

As I told you in my previous letter Chateaudun is about 70 miles from Paris and about halfway between Tours & Chartres.

Today was a jip for yours truly. This morning we had a physical exam. It might interest you to know I'm disgustingly healthy. No chance of getting out of the army that way. However at this particular moment I am very much under the weather. I can hardly move my arms. You see in addition to getting an exam, they brouhgt our shots up to date. I accumulated the amazing score of 4 shots & one vaccination. That is enough to knock
