My Darling
At long last censorship has been lifted to a certain degree and I'll be able to tell you something of my travels.
When I left Baer Field my train went through Cleveland. In fact it stoped [sic] on the track over West Blvd for about an hour. I sure did feel low at that time. I knw [sic] I was heading overseas and didn't know how long it would be before I again would see the old familiar sights. To continue, we traveled [sic] on to camp Kilmer New Jersey and stayed there a couple of weeks. While there I had a chance or two to get into N.Y. City but I didn't bother.
We left from N.Y. I'll never forget the sinking feeling I had when I saw
