My Darling Wife:
I just finished eating breakfast. Believe it or not I had a real fresh egg. My landlady has a bunch of chickens & she gave me an egg straight from the hen. It sure was a treat. Most of the eggs we get are cold storage & have been layed over a year ago.
How is everything back home? Has Paul left yet? Are you seeing much of your girl friends these days? You mentioned that your Mom thought you were seeing too much of older people.
Have you been over home lately? If so how are the folks. I haven't had any recent letters from home. Most of them are quite old.
Honey if you get some film please take some snaps & send them to me. I sure do enjoy seeing pictures from home. I must close now. Please write soon & often.
I love you
Herb.
