Sanitary Tech. School, Camp Pickett, VA.
Portion of a photo of a graduating class at San. Tech. School. Staff are in front row: Crocker, Lt. Nietupski (he was a graduate who returned as staff after OCS), Capt. (later Major) Hedden, a recent officer replacement (Capt. Presley), Cassel, Gossington. The commanding office during most of our time there was Major Watts whom Hedden replaced when Watts left. I notice an air force patch on one of the students and I think this class was mostly air force.
Leaving for the train after the furlough when JM and I became engaged.
