Graves Mountain Lodge Apple Harvest Festival
This celebration of fall in the Blue Ridge Mountains
is held on two consecutive weekends every October. Apple butter and
Brunswick stew are cooked in huge kettles over an open fire, and
the apple orchards are open for picking. Other attractions include
bluegrass music, local arts and crafts, horseback riding, hay
rides, and food. The festival began in 1970.
