Bluemont Concert Series

Bluemont, a nonprofit corporation supported by a public-private coalition of communities in northwestern and central Virginia, presents a wide variety of concerts and special events throughout the year in this predominantly rural region. Folk music, ethnic dance, regional theater, and poetry readings are just a few examples of the broad spectrum of entertainment presented. Bluemont's largest program brings the performing arts into 20 school systems. Since 1976, the concert series has presented 3,765 events in 80 communities. The Bluemont legacy is documented in a video and several publications.
