Nevada Day
This celebration begins with a four-hour parade
past the state capitol building in the morning. Other events
include the World Championship Single-Jack Drilling Contest, a
firemen's contest, an Indian powwow, a free chili feed, a quilt
show, and orchestral and choral concerts. The day ends with a grand
Victorian ball.
