Seward's Fourth of July Celebration
Named "America's Fourth of July City: Small Town
USA" by Congress in 1973, the town of 6,000 provides more than 100
activities, events and exhibits at its celebration, drawing 40,000
visitors throughout the day. Many events are free, making the day
very family-friendly. Held every year since 1868, the celebration
is organized by volunteer high school students.
