Henoween & Wayne Chicken Show
This lighthearted celebration of chickens begins on a
Friday evening dubbed "Henoween" (All Hens E'en) with entertainment
and games in downtown Wayne. The next morning an hour-long parade
ends in Bressler Park, where the National Cluck-Off and other
competitions are held, including a raw egg catch, hard-boiled egg
eating contest, and chicken flying contest. The officiating fully
feathered Chicken makes appearances in the streets, local
businesses, and on television. The 20th festival will be held in
the year 2000.
