Central Florida Peanut Festival

First held in Williston, Florida, in 1988, the Central Florida Peanut Festival was designed by Reba Greene as a day of fun and learning for Floridians. Featured in all its versatility is the peanut, and it is served in many manifestations at the Festival: raw, roasted, fried, boiled, candied, chip coated, Cajun-style, hot, ranch, garlic, peanut butter, peanut oil, peanut brittle, peanut pies, peanut ice cream, milk, cheese, flour, and peanut coating.
