Arcadia All Florida Championship Rodeo
Commemorates the history of Florida's cattle
industry and the work of its ranchers and cowboys. The rodeo
originated as the informal exploits of cowboys in contest against
one another, with only a few spectators. In 1929 the first
organized rodeo was sponsored by the American Legion as a fund
raiser, and in 1952 the All Florida Championship Rodeo Association
was formed.
