| Abstract: |
Global Policy Forum has built this large web site as its primary vehicle for
information and outreach. On the site, GPF has published hundreds of original papers on
global policy issues, as well as thousands of pages of documents and data. The site is
designed to be used by the general public as well as by students and specialists. GPF is
based in New York City and accredited to the United Nations. It has addressed issues
primarily in three areas: the UN Security Council and Council reform (so as to strengthen
international peace and human security) the UN financial crisis (so as to insure resources
for the UN's many important programs) social and economic policy at the global level (so as
to win greater rights and justice and to oppose policies of private accumulation at all
costs) |
