Abstract: Linda Lewett, film producer, director, writer, and editor, has gifted moving image materials that center on dance documentation in the Washington, DC metro area. Included in the collection are the Dance Theatre of Harlem's Kennedy Center residences, which led to a promotional documentary and the activities of Dance Place, Washington's premier community arts center. The collection also includes moving image examples from Metro Dance Arts, a Fairfax County Channel 10 project that taped dance performances at theaters including Dance Place, George Washington University, Duke Ellington School of the Arts, and George Mason University.
