Peter Matz (1928-2002)is known for the exciting, humorous, and evocative arrangements and orchestrations he wrote for recordings, live performances, and television specials featuring popular singers and performers such as Barbra Streisand and Carol Burnett. He composed scores for dozens of television movies, series, and specials, and orchestrated a few Broadway musicals as well. The collection consists primarily of his work on projects from the last 20 years of his life, including his close involvement with the Reprise! Musicals-in-concert series in Los Angeles. - Contents Note
