Its members strive to strengthen a national dance documentation and preservation network that promotes access to materials; the continuing documentation of dance; preservation of existing documentation; and education regarding methods, standards, and practice. Members of the Coalition are: Library of Congress; Lawrence and Lee Theatre Research Institute, Ohio State University; Museum of Performance & Design (San Francisco); American Dance Festival; Dance Notation Bureau; Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival; New York Public Library of the Performing Arts, Jerome Robbins Dance Division; Harvard Theatre Collection and UCLA Department of Special Collections.
