Abstract: The Tommy Newsom Collection comprises full scores and orchestral parts for 267 titles, arranged for dance band, symphonic orchestra, and various smaller ensembles. The collection includes manuscripts, printed, and photocopied materials. The collection extends over 50 years of Newsom's work as a performer and arranger. Most of the music dates from his 30 years with The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
Contents Note: Music manuscripts including scores and parts. The collection contains both photocopies and arranger holographs.
