Abstract: A large collection of music manuscripts and related material documenting the work of American composer Roger Reynolds. Reynolds is one of the early important composers to include electro-acoustic elements in live performances, and he pioneered the use of several innovative compositional techniques.
Contents Note: Full scores in manuscript and complete sketches to over 40 works; charts; diagrams; manuscripts for books, articles, and lectures; correspondence; photographs; business papers; digital material related to electro-acoustic works.
Note: Most reel-to-reel computer tapes and all sound recordings transferred to MBRS. Some computer tapes to be stored at Iron Mountain remain in the possession of the Music Division.
