- Leopold Godowsky (1870-1938), was one of the great piano virtuosos at the turn of the century. He was also an excellent teacher and a prolific composer. The collection contains manuscripts of original compositions by Godowsky as well as his transcriptions of works by Bach, Schubert, and Weber.
