Abstract: This collection documents the creative life of the American composer David Diamond (1915-2006). It contains manuscripts for nearly all of Diamond's compositions, an enormous amount of correspondence to important musical and literary persons, and daybooks and other autobiographical materials.
Contents Note: Several thousand manuscript sketches, scores, parts and published versions of Diamond's compositions; 10 shipping boxes of correspondence arranged by date; 20 shipping boxes of business papers; several hundred journals, diaries, and datebooks.
