- Abstract
- The collections in the Music Division of the Library of Congress for Academy Award winner Danny Kaye (1913-1987) and his wife, composer and songwriter Sylvia Fine (1913-1991) are particularly rich in the areas of American Musical Theater and film. The collection consists of music, scripts, correspondence, business papers a Musical Comedy Library archive, awards, and realia. Audio-visual materials are located in the Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound division. The bulk of the collection is in off site storage and must be accessed by appointment.

- The materials in the Danny Kaye and Sylvia Fine Collection were donated to the Library of Congress by Sylvia Fine in 1990. The collection consists of music, scripts, correspondence, business papers, a Musical Comedy Library archive, awards, realia, and audio visual materials, which are located in the Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division.
