Administrative oversight was provided by Diane Kresh, Sally McCallum, Jon Newsom, Jan Lauridsen, Deb Thomas, and Sam Brylawski. We are especially indebted to the staff of the Music Division, particularly the reference staff, for their help with our research and with locating items to scan. We extend our thanks to the staff of the Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division as well.
Scanning for paper items was conducted by the ITS Digital Scan Center. Our thanks go to its staff, especially Lynn Brooks, Delores Banks, Lloyd Carter, Tanya Pearson, Chris Pohlhaus, and Domenic Sergi. The remainder of items were digitized by the The Library of Congress Presents: Music, Theater and Dance staff. It should be noted that some materials were previously scanned as part of the American Memory project.
Permissions and copyright research was conducted by Mike Ashenfelder. We are also grateful to the General Counsel's Office, and in particular to Emily Vartanian and Michael Hughes, for their assistance with copyright and permissions matters.
