Significance: The Beaver Dam Road Bridge is a representative example of a Wisconsin bedstead truss highway bridge. It is identical to a bedstead truss in Allentown, Wisconsin, built by the Milwaukee Bridge and Iron Works, a leading Wisconsin bridge building company.
