Significance: The bridge is significant as a representative example of bridges constructed in the early 20th Century. During this time, the use of trusses dominated the bridge industry, replacing the variety of designs characteristic of the 19th Century. With its heavy, built up structural members and concrete slab floor, this bridge it typical of those built in the early 1920's, reflecting the demands of increased traffic. The bridge is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
