Building/structure dates: 1912 initial construction
Significance: Governor's Bridge is one of only two surviving truss bridges in the county. It also marks the site of a river crossing since colonial times. The name Governor's Bridge is derived from the use of this crossing by two eighteenth century Maryland governors who lived at nearby "Belair."
