Significance: Associated with work of John C. Oglesby, an important and long-time County Surveyor, City Engineer, and private surveyor responsible for many of the bridges extant in Marin County. Only open spandrel arch bridge in Marin County. This type of bridge was closely associated with the development of the California State Highway system.
