The U. S. Post Office donated this unusual illuminated album to the Library, perhaps because it had been lost in the mail system. It has been attributed to Kate A. Williams, an impressionist painter. She belonged to the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors, American Federation of Artists, and the National Arts Club. Williams died in 1939 in New York City.
