Getting ready to teach the lesson:

5. Gather supplementary books from school and local libraries.
6. Reserve Internet-accessible computers for student use.
7. To broaden your own knowledge base, consider viewing Ken Burns' video series, “The Civil War”, available at many local and university libraries.
