Now that you have prepared your photographs, it is an easy process to make a slide show using GifBuilder for Macintosh. One of the best features of GifBuilder is its selection of transitions between pictures. Choose dissolve, slide, push, wipe, or peel to add pizzazz to your slide show.
1. Launch GifBuilder. Select Frames from Window in the menu.
2. Select Add Frame from File in the menu.
3. Select one of your photographs. Click on Open
Your picture will be placed in an untitled frame as 1 of 1.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have added all of your photographs as frames.
5. Select Background Color from Options in the menu. You can make this any contrasting color you want.
6. Highlight Frame 1 and select Default Interframe Delay from Options in the menu.
7. Type 200 in the dialog box. You can use any number, but this works well as the time delay between slides for Web presentations. Repeat this step for each frame.
8. Select Loop from the Options menu. If you want the slide show to play continually, click on Forever (recommended). Otherwise type in the number of times to loop.
9. Select Transitions from the Effects menu if you want transitions between your photographs. Repeat this step for each frame.
10. Select Save As from the File menu to save your slide show. Type in a filename no longer than 8 characters. Click on Save. There are several other functions from which to choose in GifBuilder. You can convert QuickTime movies into GIF animations and edit images. Select Help from the GifBuilder menu to view shortcuts.
